Fan Dahan, born in Handan, Hebei province, studied International Economics (Bachelor) and Western Philosophy (Master) at Peking University. In 2016, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Tübingen, Germany. He then worked there as lecturer in philosophy and teaches since 2017 as assistant professor at the Tsinghua University. His interest fields are Immanuel Kant, contemporary practical philosophy, aesthetics and German philosophy.
